Located in the Northern Rivers’ Ewingsdale neighbourhood, this project is situated on an acre of land previously settled by dairy farmers & originally big scrub.

The vision for this garden was to celebrate the mid-century modern inspired home, utilising clean lines & a minimal materials palette.  A series of rendered garden walls draw the landscape in while providing a feeling of protected sanctuary within.  

River birch tree’s offer a sense of scale & seasonality to the garden, while a mix of native grasses & flowering shrubs provide texture and movement that softly anchor the home into its surrounding landscape.
